Saudi Arabian girl, 13 sentenced to 90 lashes and jail for bringing a cellphone to school.

Roosevelt King Ibn Saud
Welcome to Saudi Arabia. The land of sand and sun. Oil and Wealth. Fun and....floggings? Yes, and it's not just for adults. Oh no, in Saudi Arabia they beat everyone equally. According to the daily mail in the UK a 13 year old Saudi girl was sentenced to 90 lashes after she took a cellphone to school. The unnamed girl apparently assaulted the schools headmistress after the cellphone, which has been banned at girls schools was discovered.

This is not something new. Saudi Arabia is constantly criticized for it's human rights violations. Just a few years ago 16 school children were given between 300 and 600 lashes a piece for being aggressive with one of their teachers. In this most recent case the girl will receive her 90 lashes followed by two months of detention for her actions.

Movie theaters and music concerts are banned, and many restaurants and some shopping malls cater to families only, especially on holidays.
Religious police roam streets to make sure no unrelated men and women mix.
The Saudi court system is exclusively controlled by Wahahbi/Salafi clerics, and bans the employment of non-Salafi citizens, especially as judges.
Saudi Arabia is the world's leading country when it comes to torture-by-flogging, public beheadings and publicly crucifying condemned prisoners.

The Saudi government even publicly crucified two people, one of them in the capital city of Riyadh during a visit from President Obama in April. The absolute Monarchy does not care about world opinion in the least and they can flaunt their cruelty freely since I'm sure the Bowing Obama would never say anything to offend a cruel tyrant. That would be mean.

Let's face it. Go back through history and just about every American president has a picture oh himself standing with some Saudi prince or king. We've been in bed with these towel-wearing tyrants for over a century and will continue to do so until they are no longer useful. So we can expect many more school children to suffer intolerable inhumanities while we sit idly by unwilling to upset our delicate relationship with these barbaric throw backs.
