Feds Subpeona bloggers who leaked new secret TSA directive.

Flying with Fish posted the new TSA guidelines on their blog. The information was received from an anonymous email. Below is that post.
New TSA Directive

Apparently the TSA wasn't too happy about that. It seems the information was leaked. What happened next is typical. Fallout from posting of new TSA directive.

Twice this month the TSA has had sensitive information linked on to the internet. I should be upset because this could give the terrorists an undue advantage. Frankly I'm not upset at all. I'm actually glad for once that someone is nice enough to give the American people a heads up as to just how many anal cavity searches we will have to endure, what white American business men and elderly Scandinavian grandmothers can expect when they are profiled, strip searched and grilled about their ties to Al-Qaeda. The problem with the Airlines is not how much security there is, but the quality and the focus of the security already in place. We can stop 99.7 percent of all terrorist attacks on airplanes with two simple directives. Stop and thoroughly question all males of Middle Eastern descent between the ages of 18 and 50 and anyone who looks like this guy:
Richard Reid Shoe Bomber
Directive number two.  Train all airport security personnel in the culture of Islam it's beliefs, the way most Islamic males look, dress, the way they wear their hair and facial hair so they don't accidentally profile some poor Indian or Mexican.

There problem solved. Can we all now fly in peace??

Democrats Bribe Nebraska. Attorney Generals threaten Pelosi with legal action.

Republican attorneys general in 13 states are calling for the removal of  Nebraska's political deal from the health care reform bill or face legal action.
"We believe this provision is constitutionally flawed," South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster and the 12 other attorneys general sent the letter to  House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
"As chief legal officers of our states we are contemplating a legal challenge to this provision and we ask you to take action to render this challenge unnecessary by striking that provision," they wrote.

The letter was signed by the head prosecutors in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Michigan, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington state. All are Republicans, and 3 are running for governor in their respective states.
McMaster was looking into the constitutionality of the $100 million deal he named the"Cornhusker Kickback."

House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., said the letter was solely political in nature.
"This threat stinks of partisan politics," he said in a statement. "If Henry McMaster wants to write federal law he should run for Congress not governor."

This would  be the second time in this bills history that the Democrats have offered hundreds of millions of dollars to someone in exchange for their vote. The first was the"Louisiana Purchase" affair, where Democrats offered 100 Million to Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) in exchange for her vote back in November to keep the bill alive. Now in most circles this type of behavior is called 'bribery' and it is illegal. Apparently when the Democrats control all threee houses it's called "Social Responsibility". I would agree. If they continue on this path they will be solely responsible for for bringing Socialism to the United States.

Asshat of the Week #1:Florida man calls 911 to get ride to the bar.

Gregory J. Oras
I think I'm going to start a new feature. "Asshat of the week." It will feature idiots like this guy doing what they do best. Being complete and total losers.

OLDSMAR, Fla. – Authorities say a Florida man who called 911 claiming he'd been beaten and shot at was hoping the tale would get him a ride to a bar. Instead, 37-year-old Gregory J. Oras is facing charges of misusing the 911 system and battery of a law enforcement officer.

An arrest report says Oras called 911 three times before his arrest early Tuesday in Oldsmar, northwest of Tampa. He told the dispatcher he had a broken nose and bleeding ears, and claimed people were shooting at him.

Authorities say he was actually looking for a ride to another bar.

The report also says Oras kicked a Pinellas County sheriff's deputy in the knees and a Taser was used to subdue him.

Online records show he is being held at the Pinellas County Jail but don't indicate whether he has an attorney.

Taliban Release Video of Captive US Soldier Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl

The Taliban has released a new video that purportedly shows a U.S. soldier who was captured in Afghanistan almost six months ago. The video was sent to various media organizations on Friday, along with a demand for a prisoner exchange.

In this new video, a young man who identifies himself as Private Bowe Bergdahl is seen wearing a helmet and army uniform. He stares into the camera from behind dark sunglasses. And he delivers a warning.

"I'm afraid to tell you that this war has slipped from our fingers," he said. "This is just going to be the next Vietnam unless the American people stand up and stop all this nonsense."

The 23-year-old Bergdahl disappeared in late June after leaving his base camp in Paktika with three Afghans. He is the first U.S. soldier to be captured in Afghanistan and Taliban commanders have previously threatened to kill him.

The man in the video describes his treatment at the hands of the Taliban as humane, while images of prisoners being abused in U.S. custody flash across the screen.

"I was continuously treated as a human being with dignity. I had nobody deprive me of my clothes and take pictures of me naked," he said. "I had no dogs barking at me and biting me as my country has done to Muslim prisoners in the jails that I mentioned."

Taliban officials first released a video of Bergdahl back in July, shortly after he was captured, and announced earlier this month that another one was coming.  The video concludes with Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, renewing the militants' demands for a prisoner exchange.

IntelCenter, a U.S.-based terrorism monitoring group, says an initial analysis shows the video appears to be authentic.  A NATO spokesman condemned the video as a horrible act that "exploits a young soldier, who was clearly compelled to read a prepared statement."

The spokesman also called the timing of the video's release, on Christmas Day, "an affront" to Bergdahl's family and friends.

Senior U.S. military officials have promised to do everything they can to find Bergdahl and bring him back to the United States. Afghan officials say they are working to secure Bergdahl's release.

Terror in the Skies:Failed bomb attempt on Northwest Airliner bound for Detroit.

Northwest Airlines Flight 253

A Nigerian man with supposed ties to Al-Qaeda was subdued by passengers and subsequently arrested by police after the bomb he brought on board the flight failed to detonate properly. Northwest flight 253 was headed to Detroit from Amsterdam when the suspect Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, an engineering student from London attempted to detonate a homemade explosive device just before touchdown at Detroit Wayne County Airport. The device ignited, but did not explode. Passengers and crew who witnessed the incident quickly subdued the man. The suspect received second and third degree burns from the incident. Reports that another passenger aboard the plane also received burns has not been confirmed.

After the plane was escorted to an isolated part of the runway the passengers were 'deplaned' and individually screened by police. The alleged bomber was taken to University of Michigan Medical Centre where he has been questioned by police. His claims that this attack was part of a larger scheme being conducted by Al-Qaeda have not yet been confirmed. Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab is on the U.S. anti-terror watch list, but was not on the no-fly list because the feds were waiting for more evidence.

President Barack Obama, who is vacationing in Hawaii was notified earlier today. He hastily scheduled conference calls with advisers with Homeland Security and counter-terrorism chief, John Brennan. The president asked that enhanced security measures be enacted immediately to prevent another such attack. These measures could significantly hamper holiday travelers.

Democratic representative Parker Griffith switches sides over health care debate.

U.S. Representative Parker Griffith (D)Ala. has had enough. He said goodbye to the Democratic party and joined the Republicans after it became apparent to him that his party was ruining the country.
"I believe our nation is at a crossroads and I can no longer align myself with a party that continues to pursue legislation that is bad for our country, hurts our economy, and drives us further and further into debt,"Griffith said as he spoke to reporters. His wife,Virginia standing by his side.  Rep. Griffith decided to leave due to disagreements with his fellow Democrats on issues of policy and most importantly, health care.
"I want to make it perfectly clear that this bill is bad for our doctors," he said. "It's bad for our patients. It's bad for the young men and women who are considering going into the health care field."

The switch represents a coup for House Republican leadership, which had been courting Griffith since he publicly criticized Democratic leadership in the wake of raucous town halls over the summer.
